Visit to Shivaloka Soul Jewelry Flagship Store
In January 2012 I listed my intentions for this year. Along with my desire for a new car and the usual requests for various material objects, I put down a trip to Bali. I had been invited several times by my friends, the designers Raymond and Swathimaa who own Shivaloka, but I did not think a visit to Indonesia was in the cards for me this year. Well, lo and behold, an opportunity to travel to Asia presented itself and I decided to make a stopover in Bali for a few days.
Bali was everything I thought it would be. It is laid back, sophisticated and full of interesting people. I made a beeline for the Shivaloka Soul Jewelry store and subsequently went back another 3 times, as it was usually my meeting place for all of my activities.
I had the good fortune of having Raymond help me pick out my jewelry. Well, actually I guided the choosing of the specific pieces; he merely helped facilitate it. The jewelry chose me. I ended up choosing the Lakshmi Devi and the Hanuman. The Hanuman aids with one’s spiritual experiences, soul power and provides great protection from negativity. The Lakshmi Devi aids with fulfillment of desires and prosperity. I have not taken these pieces off since Raymond put them on me. I generally wear them layered and when I want to wear other jewelry pieces, I merely tuck these under my blouse or dress. When I sleep with them at night, they are under my pillow. Often times, I hold them in my palm when I sleep.
Have I noticed a change in my life? 100% I have. I have a noticed a change in prosperity, changes in my perspective and increased productivity.

This past Saturday I hit the R. Ochs Handbags trunk show in conjunction with Calleen Cordero at Fred Segal Santa Monica. Rhonda is a dear friend of mine (a BFF one might to say to myself, and many) and her handbag collection is simply divine. Real croco, gator and snake paired with the most divine leather. The styling is impeccable as is Rhonda herself. I was happy to pop in, see some friends, do some shopping and drink some champagne. Great way to end my Saturday. :)
